The Borrower was introduced to Sancus by ACDS Consultants, a boutique debt advisory practice based in the West Midlands.

The loan, for the development of 33 apartments in central Birmingham, involved negotiation of an overage agreement as well as a complex build programme due to the site location for the development.

ACDS was founded by Ajeet Karandikar in 2005 and he was joined by Steve Long in 2017. The company provides advice and source debt facilities across a wide range of sectors and are a highly regarded intermediary in the region.

ACDS have been working with Sancus in the UK since 2019, completing a number of loans together during this time.

A bridging loan secured on a large rural estate in the Irish midlands. The owner was looking to release funds pending the sale of the property to allow for the purchase and refurbishment of another property.

The Borrower was introduced to Sancus by Colliers (Jersey).

The client wanted to repay all outstanding debt to include existing bank mortgages, private lending and expensive credit card debt pending moving to a longer term finance agreement. They were eventually looking to downsize from their current residence which would repay all debt and release equity for wealth management and pension purposes and in the process needed a short term bridge to achieve the first part of their plan.

The Colliers team have had a strong working relationship with the Sancus (Jersey) team since the company was formed, referring a number of loan opportunities and completing on several loans.
